In addition to its classical work, Apollo Voices has appeared in celebrity concerts, and has provided backing vocals for recordings by Daniele de Niese, Patrick Wolf, Laura Wright and Noah Stewart and has also provided a quartet of vocalists for Russell Watson in a sell-out UK tour and Christmas concert in Kuala Lumpur.
Apollo Voices' discography includes: Chausson's Le Roi Arthus, conducted by Leon Botstein, on Telarc International, with eleven of the smaller roles cast from within the choir; Wagner's Tristan und Isolde, recorded live at The Barbican, with Donald Runnicles; Craig Armstrong's Memory Takes My Hand and a CD of Joseph Marx’s choral works for Chandos Records, again with soloists coming from the choir.
Soundtracks also play a valuable part in the choir’s output. This began when director Sir Kenneth Branagh invited Apollo Voices to be the choir for his film of The Magic Flute with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe conducted by James Conlon. This success led to working with composer Harry Gregson-Williams on his film scores for The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Prince of Persia (Walt Disney Pictures), Shrek Forever After (Dreamworks), Life in a Day, Arthur Christmas (Sony Pictures) and (together with Marc Streitenfeld) Prometheus (Scott Free Productions).
The performance of Space Odyssey in 2015.7.12 was Apollo Voices’ debut in China.
