Huang Yi

Huang Yi Mr. Huang Yi is an extraordinary young Chinese conductor.
Mr. Huang was admitted into the Faculty of Conducting of China’s Central Conservatory of Music (CCM) with excellent academic scores in 2006, under the instruction of Professor Yang Li. From 2007 on, Mr. Huang has been instructed by noted conductor Professor Yu Feng.
2009, he was handpicked by the world renowned conductor Seiji Ozawa as his music assistant.
2010, Mr. Huang proudly became a recommended student for the Postgraduate Program of the Conservatory with an authorized waiver of the Entrance Exam.
2011, he admitted to Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" Berlin in first class for master study majored in conducting, following Professor Christian Ehwald and Professor Hans-Dieter Baum.
In 2012, conducting China Philharmonic Orchestra at the 15th Beijing Music Festival's new production of the Chinese Opera “The Savage Land.” 2013, as assistant conductor at the 16th Beijing Music Festival co-production with Salzburg Easter Festival of the “Parsifal”. Mr. Huang has conducted the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, the New Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Seiji Ozawa Ongaku-Juku Symphony Orchestra, the Korea Pusan Philharmonic Orchestra, the China Philharmonic Orchestra, the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra,the Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra, Hangzhou Philharmonic Orchestra, the Macao youth Symphony Orchestra, the China Juvenile Symphony Orchestra, etc.
Recently, Mr. Huang has collaborated with the famous Chinese soprano Liping Zhang, baritone Chenyan Yuan, mezzo-soprano Ning Liang, tenor Jianyi Zhang, bass-baritone Shen Yang, pianist Haochen Zhang, trumpet soloist Alison Balsom, Violinist Wei Wen and guitarist Xuefei Yang.
